So I'm just about all packed. And let me just say, I've given myself a big pat on the back. I fit quite a bit of clothes into that little suitcase and it was the feat of the year.
At least, feat of the year for a lethargic teenager.
But a feat nonetheless. So now it's time to get my carry-on together with some extra clothes and whatnots that I need. And my summer reading books! I've actually had at least some of the books on my iPod for a year so now I can read them! With the amount of reference made to Scarlet Letter it's about time that I figure out what all the hullabaloo is for.
Oh, and today was the last day of exams. My soul did die a little bit, but that's okay. I know Fips says curving makes her feel dirty but HALLELUJAH, the other teachers do it til sunup and I am WAY okay with that. I got a 97 on my history exam - I sense a good thirty points was added.
Looking forward to next year. By my VP's wish I am retaking my math course (Algebra II/trig) and have just failed at beating the words of one of my most disliked math teachers ever: I will not make it. That's disappointing, and I'll miss the junior-class characters I had the pleasure of listening to, but I guess it's just not meant to be. I personally think my math teacher was plotting against the other freshman Rach and I by scheduling ONLY us for a senior course that interfered with the schedule. Well you know what, teacher? FOUR POINT TESTS THAT MAKE THE VP QUESTION MY MATH ABILITY ARE NOT COOL. So stick that in your juice box and suck it.
Writing is certainly cathartic, isn't it? We all know why that caps lock is there, and it ain't for making see-able headings on your essays.
So adieu, computer, until tomorrow...
